Perrett battling

Canterbury are hopeful of giving retiring winger Sam Perrett an onfield send-off as he battles a nerve problem in his neck. The 31-year-old will hang up his boots at the end of the NRL season but is battling to return to the park before then. After missing last week’s loss to Brisbane, he’ll sit out tonight’s clash with North Queensland and coach Des Hasler can’t guarantee he’ll return before season’s end.
