If you’re travelling into Timaru from the north, today or tomorrow morning, please be aware of possible congestion at the Wai-iti Rd/Theodosia St intersection on State Highway 1, mainly at peak traffic times. The NZ Transport Agency is repairing a service cover in the southbound left hand lane between Wai-iti Rd and the Bay Hill Road. The left hand lane of SH1 will be closed for a section, as well as the inside right turn lane from Wai-iti Rd, until midday tomorrow.
