Svetlana Kuznetsova has given herself a haircut during her WTA Finals win over Agnieszka Radwanska in Singapore. Kuznetsova dug deep to overcome Radwanska 7-5 1-6 7-5 in their round robin opener yesterday, the late-arriving Russian upsetting the defending champion in a thrilling encounter. Trailing 1-2 in the third set and battling exhaustion, Kuznetsova requested scissors during a break and hacked through her thick ponytail about halfway down. ‘‘Sometimes you gotta do it not by best hairdressers and not at best time,’’ she said on Instagram post-match.
