Prop passes

Former South Canterbury prop Phil Ryan has passed away. Ryan propped for South Canterbury in 50 games from 1961-68. He lived in Cave but played his club rugby for Temuka. Ryan also played one game for the Hanan Shield side against Southland. Ryan also played 23 of his games for South Canterbury with his brother Steve.
