Euthanasia
Wow, we now have a Professor Bernheim all the way from Belgium, enticing our politicians, professors, and nation, to condone euthanasia. (June 12).
Many of our own learned professors and politicians have already been enticing our nation as well, to condone euthanasia.
My question, why would your last act on earth be to defy God, and jeopardise your own eternal wellbeing? Our life here in mortality is a blink of an eye compared to the eternities. There is a consequence for opposing the Laws of God, without repenting of our sins. How does eternal misery sound?
The purpose of Our Loving Heavenly Father’s laws is to enable us to have eternal happiness, and happiness here on earth as well; that’s why His beloved son, Jesus Christ, paid and atoned for our sins.
Although it will not be too surprising if those of the majority Government support him, because euthanasia, or “Thou shalt not kill”, is one of the last Commandments of God yet to be overturned by our politicians. Many other Laws of God have already been overturned.
If euthanasia is legalised, our pensioners had better beware! Look at the billions the Government could save.
If that happens, I guess they will be wondering why all the calamities already happening out there will befall us? Here’s a scripture that refers to those people in “high places” who oppose our Heavenly Father’s Commandments.
Ephesians 6:12 ‘‘For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.’’
I care for the wellbeing of our nation and our people, and most of all this opportunity for those opposing God to reconsider their desires about euthanasia, hence this letter. Huriata Weeks Timaru (Abridged) military industrial complex seeking perpetual growth and profit for its sinister ends. Almost all current global problems contain elements of religious bigotry surreptitiously exacerbated by those commercial interests.
The problem with the Abrahamic religions, indeed all religions, is that in the absence of any evidence substantiating the existence of a supernatural being, adherents must rely simply on belief and faith. Even the US Vice President and 70 per cent of the populace accept creationism! Evidence, reason and science are discounted.
Religion inevitably contains an element of indoctrination and has no place in modern taxpayerfunded secular state schools. Teach morals and values by all means, but without religious bias.
