Among matters heard by Judge Brian Callaghan in the Timaru District Court on Tuesday were:

Barry Leslie Clark, of Tekapo; supplying an unlicensed firearm - convicted and discharged.

Andrew Peter Cummins, 24, of Kensington; a third or subsequent charge of EBA of 474mcg - convicted and banned from driving for 12 months and fined $750.

Ramahi Paea, unemployed, of Temuka; EBA of 1245mcg - convicted and sentenced to 200 hours community work and nine months supervisio­n, banned from driving for eight months.

Hogan Leslee Growden, 22, unemployed, of no fixed abode; procuring and possession of cannabis - convicted and sentenced to 40 hours community work.

Bronson McCloy, 19, of Kensington; two charges of receiving, five charges of using a credit card - convicted and fined $250 and ordered to pay reparation­s of $105 and $67.80.

James Robert Grimmer, 25, unemployed of Timaru; seven charges of using a credit card, one charge of theft - convicted and sentenced to 190 hours community work and order to pay reparation­s of $25 and $269.

Lutske Van Gosliga, 81, of Morven; careless driving - discharged without conviction.

Grant Walter Eder, of Timaru; two charges of common assault, threatenin­g behaviour - convicted and sentenced to nine months supervisio­n.

Rachel Elizabeth Dyer, of Timaru; shopliftin­g - convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months if called upon.

Rawiri Cliff Ormsby, 32, of Timaru; male assaults female - convicted and sentenced to nine months supervisio­n.

Leone Baleibarav­i Nawalu, of Timaru; EBA of 800mcg - convicted and fined $750 and banned from driving for six months.

Shaun Patrick Redrup, 21, of Timaru; threatenin­g behaviour, wilful damage, injuring with intent to injure - convicted and fined $300 and ordered to pay reparation­s of $150.

A South Canterbury man; two charges of assault on a child - convicted and sentenced to three months community detention and nine months supervisio­n.

Brendan James Affleck, 37, of Timaru; common assault - convicted and sentenced to nine months supervisio­n.

Bryan William Ryder, of Timaru; male assaults female - convicted and sentenced to nine months supervisio­n.

Donovan Thomas Winchester, 41, of Timaru; careless driving, driving while suspended, seven charges of unlawfully interferin­g with a motor vehicle - sentenced to nine months supervisio­n , 75 hours community work and banned from driving for six months.
