Cycling, men’s 15km scratch race (Campbell Stewart) men there or thereabouts. It’s rugby, after all.
Shooting (2): Olympic silver medallist Natalie Rooney looks a solid medal chance in the women’s trap, while Glasgow gold medallist Sally Johnston should hopefully go close again in the 50m prone rifle. Outside of that is a crapshoot.
Swimming (zero): What a fall it has been for the sport in New Zealand, which will only continue with no more medals this Games. Only Sophie Pascoe and Lewis Clareburt have
Cycling, men’s 40km points race (Campbell Stewart)

Triathlon, mixed team relay (Nicole van der Kaay, Andrea Hewitt, Tayler Reid, Ryan Sissons) medalled so far. Australia have 78 medals in the pool, including 28 golds.
Road cycling (2): Predicting a road race is an exercise in futility, but both NZ teams have enough class to grab one medal in each.
Wrestling (2): Tayla Ford and Sam Belkin won bronze at Glasgow. It’s New Zealand’s ninth-most successful medal event in Games history. That’s the extent of my knowledge. Let’s say two.
TOTAL: 28, for an overall total of 54.
