As well as the $10,000 lucky ticket draw at the Caroline Bay Rock & Hop, there are plenty of other chances to win for those attending Saturday’s gala day.

The Timaru Motors Cash and Cars competitio­n offers a $1000 cash prize and two remotecont­rolled Ford Ranger cars for the kids.

These battery-powered mini cars are pretty cool and to be in with a chance to qualify, head to the Timaru Motors tent in the middle of all the show cars.

For $1 a go, all you have to do is hit a table tennis ball into a stack of tyres and you are in the draw to win. The draw will be made on the main stage at 2.50pm.

You can win elsewhere as well.

Alpine Energy is taking green screen photos again but will also put you in the draw to win a mystery break for two.

Guess the number of bags of chips in the Heartland VW and be in to win a year’s supply of delicious Heartland Potato Chips.

Go to The Geraldine Autos display and put your name down to win a Twin high-rise intake manifold to suit a Ford flat head V8. This will also be presented on stage at 2.55pm.

Visit the friendly team at the SBS Bank site and be in with a chance to win a $500 Repco voucher. It’s free to enter.

Get to the Mitre10 Mega marquee and compete against your friends and get your name on the leader’s board. Mitre10 Mega will have a great prize for the winner on the day.

BNT has donated a Jonnesway 128 pcs 12’’ and 14’’ DR Toolkit which is up for silent auction. Get your bid in at the Informatio­n Centre.
