‘‘I have to tell myself, you’ve done a lot, you’ve overcome all these things,’’ she says.
‘‘I’m still learning. I’m still trying to be a better person and to change habits.
‘‘It just takes time. But like it is with your training, you have to be patient, keep doing what you’re doing, and you’ll get a result. If you put in some effort and work hard, it will all pay off.’’
