Incidents reported to police include: A 19-year-old Timaru woman was stopped for driving while forbidden at 6pm on Friday. Her car was impounded and she has been summonsed to court. A 42-year-old man was served with a suspension notice for excessive demerit points at 2am on Saturday after being found in possession of cannabis utensils at Patiti Point South St. On Saturday at 3am, 20-30 boy racers were reported in Pareora Gorge Rd. Police attended and 30 vehicles were found parked with fresh tyre skid marks nearby. No arrests were made. A 46-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructio­n and assaulting police at Hector Black’s in Stafford St at 3.20am on Saturday. The man was released on bail and the woman received a court summons. At 10.45am on Saturday a 29-yearold Timaru man was arrested for breaching residentia­l bail. He will appear in court today. A 26-year-old Timaru woman was found driving with her licence suspended, in Bouverie St. Her vehicle was impounded and summons issued. At 4am on Sunday, the front window of Dizzy Spells in Stafford St was smashed in. Police inquiries are continuing. A 22-year-old man was arrested for assault at the Sail and Anchor in Sophia St on Sunday at 4.30am. He will appear in court in March. Two youths were taken into custody at 6.20am in Maple Cres after four youths were reported kicking in car doors. One was tracked by a dog handler and the other has been referred to Youth Aid. A 30-year-old man was stopped for drink-driving in James St about 6.30am on Sunday. He blew 699 micrograms per litre of breath.
