Flog It Prime, 6pm In this new British series, members of the public have their personal treasures appraised by experts to see what they are worth. The treasure owners then have the option to put their items up for auction. Just like the ever-popular Antiques

Roadshow, the series – which is hosted by Paul Martin (above) – travels around the UK visiting various places. First stop is the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth.

Are You Being Served? 2016 Special Jones!, 7.30pm Set in 1988, this one-off show features the original sitcom’s memorable characters played by new cast members.

MONDAY

Graham Norton: Big Red Chair Special Three, 7.30pm Anyone familiar with The Graham

Norton Show will know about its red chair. This is where an ordinary person tells an anecdote before a celebrity guest deems how interestin­g or dull the tale is. If it’s the latter, the A-lister will pull a lever causing the story-teller to tip backwards. Ouch. First Contact Maori TV, 8.30pm A group of Ocker celebs including actress and singer Natalie Imbruglia spend time with indigenous Australian­s.

Trumbo Movies Extra, 10.10pm New Zealand actor Dean O’Gorman (Westside) plays screen-icon Kirk Douglas in this drama about a blackliste­d Hollywood screenwrit­er.

TUESDAY

Prime Rocks: The Exponents Prime, 8.35pm If you missed it the first time, here is another chance to watch the doco about Kiwi pop group The Exponents. Fronted by Jordan Luck (above), the band’s hits include Victoria, I’ll Say Goodbye, and Why Does Love Do This To Me. Murder On The Internet TVNZ 1, 9.10pm Think before you swipe may well be the message viewers take away from this doco which looks at the dangerous side of online dating.

QI UKTV, 7.30pm Alan Davies, Clive Anderson, Jeremy Clarkson and Vic Reeves are panellists on tonight’s episode of the quiz show. Will host Stephen Fry be able to get a word in?

WEDNESDAY

Homes By The Sea Prime, 7.30pm Just like the title says, this one is about homes (built) by the sea. Here, Charlie Luxton (above) has the enviable job of visiting coastal UK properties that include a stylish cottage and clifftop creations. It’s a tough life. Robson Crusoe: A Surprising Adventure Choice, 7.30pm Actor and fisherman Robson Green fulfils a boyhood dream by attempting to live like Robinson Crusoe, albeit temporaril­y, on a desert island.

SKYLIGHT

Who Do You Think You Are? BBC Knowledge, 8.30pm Mary Berry from reality competitio­n series The Great British Bake Off embarks upon a journey to learn more about her father’s family.

THURSDAY

Fair Isle: Life On The Edge Choice, 9.30pm Fair Isle is one of Britain’s most remote inhabited islands with a measly population of just 55 including Rachel Challoner (above), who moved there with her partner. Fair Isle, which is located in chilly Scotland, was once home to almost 400 people. But now its survival is understand­ably under threat. This documentar­y looks at the challenges of island life over the course of a year and asks what the future may hold.

Sideways Movie Greats, 8.30pm In this black comedy, two male friends with little in common visit California’s wine country to bicker, laugh and, of course, sample the local vino.

FRIDAY

The Graham Norton Show Three, 8pm Actress Nicole Kidman (above) promotes her latest film The

Beguiled. She is joined by her country music star husband Keith Urban and actor Alan Cumming (The Good Wife) who has a memoir to flog. Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy Bravo, 8.30pm This over-the-top US comedy film sends up 1970s television networks. Will Ferrell is terrific as an egotistica­l newsreader.

SKYLIGHT

Autopsy: Last Hours Of Whitney Houston Crime Investigat­ion, 8.30pm The death of the troubled American pop star Whitney Houston, who died five yeas ago in Beverly Hills, is the focus of this documentar­y.
