What’s new On Screen

-

Last month marked Shortland Street’s 25th anniversary and, given the show is such an institution, a raft of new titles has been added to NZ On Screen, all within a 25 Years Of Shortland Street Collection.

Alongside memories and the first episode, there are four new spotlights – Memorable Exits, Four Weddings And A Funeral, Favourite Scenes, and Songs Of Shortland Street.

In Favourite Scenes, current cast members talk about their favourite storyline – from Chris Warner meeting his triplets, to the infamous Ferndale strangler, and the helicopter crash from the show’s 20th anniversary. Of course, each interview is accompanied by footage of the moment.

Similarly, Memorable Exits features some of the show’s most dramatic deaths and disappearances – dastardly Dom meeting a fiery end, Tiffany’s fall from a rooftop, Lionel Skeggins’ mysterious ‘now you see me, now you don’t’ exit, and more.

Ferndale favourite Angela Bloomfield has penned a background to the collection – don’t miss it.

With Survivor NZ in full swing, the first episode of Celebrity Treasure

Island has also been added to www.nzonscreen.com.

Fourteen “household names” are marooned on a Fijian Island and left to fend for themselves. Tensions run high with hunger and allegations of cheating.
