It has been confirmed that the British crime drama Luther is set to return for a fifth series, with Idris Elba (left) back as Detective John Luther. The show’s writer Neil Cross announced the new season stating he thought Luther had “unfinished business”. Idris added that “Neil, the BBC and I have been talking about a further season and I am thrilled that we have been able to bring it all together. I look forward to putting the coat back on.”
