Johnston, Green lead Age Before Beauty

Former Coronation Street actress Sue Johnston (right), who played Gloria Price, and Grantchester’s Robson Green are joining forces to star in the new BBC drama series Age Before Beauty. The six-part series, which has been penned by Poldark writer Debbie Horsfield, is about a family-run Manchester beauty salon with Sue playing matriarch and spray-tan technician Ivy-Rae. Polly Walker (Delphine Day in Mr Selfridge) and former Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley will also star.
