The spin-off series 24: Legacy has been cancelled by its network Fox after only one season. The show’s producers are reportedly looking into other spin-off ideas in the 24 universe instead.

Billy Connolly and Julie Walters (below) have been knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List while Harry Potter author JK Rowling and Sir Paul McCartney joined the Order of the Companions of Honour, which is limited to 65 members. OBEs were also awarded to Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams and Happy Valley actress Sarah Lancashire.
