Mark Ruffalo signs on for HBO drama series

Oscar-winning actor Mark Ruffalo (right) is set to star in an upcoming eight-part drama series based on the novel I Know This Much Is True, by Wally Lamb. Mark will play twins Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in the HBO drama, which follows the parallel lives of the brothers over the latter years of the 20th century. The 49-year-old actor, who stars in the Avengers film franchise, will also act as

executive producer.
