Wedded bliss?
The New Zealand version of Married At First Sight (Three, Sun/Mon, 7pm/7.30pm) is a bad copy of the Australian one. The participants are wrongly paired and most of them have nothing in common, which has created drama and ridiculous situations. The cocktail party was an evening dominated by gossip and booze. Also not a good choice of counsellors. Their expertise in relationships is disputable. Why make changes to a successful programme if not for the better? G Armstrong (Auckland)
What on earth do these Married At First Sight women – and Ben – expect? They need to put on their big-girl pants, lay off the alcohol, give their ‘me-me-me’ attitudes a rest, consider the needs of their partners and behave like adults rather than schoolgirls. They claim they are looking for love – well, then, at least act lovable. Holy moley! And as for Luke – yes, he was emotionally withdrawn, but Lacey leaving after four days and then planning an overseas getaway without telling him? All class, not. Roll on Sunday. I Know Best (Hamilton)
