Block ‘oldies’ too rude and childish
I feel compelled to write about the current series of The Block NZ (on Three). I actually said I would never watch another one after the last debacle, however I thought I would give it one more go. Silly me. I started off really liking Amy and Stu, but am appalled at the behaviour of the so-called “oldies” (as they like to keep reminding everyone). They have turned out to be the most “childish” of them all. Amy was proved to be a cheat, caught out on camera but still blatantly lied to The Wolf (big mistake), and now she is becoming nastier as the days go by. As for Stu, he is a foul-mouthed show-off who can’t seem to say anything without using a profanity (even though he knows he is on camera). I can’t help but think what sort of example they are setting for children. I think the show should have a “vote for your most unfavourite team” as I know who I would vote for. Also, like many others I know, I have now switched off and have decided this time it really is the last time.
