My Life Is Murder: New Zealand’s Lucy Lawless headlines this Australian crime drama as Alexa Crowe, a fearless and unapologet­ic investigat­or. The show is set in Melbourne. Screens on TVNZ 1.

Bad Mothers: Ex-Love Child actress Mandy McElhinney (left) stars alongside Shalom Brune-Franklin (Doctor Doctor), Jessica Tovey (Home And Away) and Tess Haubrich in an Australian series about four different mothers whose children attend the same primary school. Streams OnDemand.

The War Of The

Worlds: Eleanor Tomlinson (right, Poldark) stars in this adaption of H.G. Wells’ novel about a couple’s fight for survival when Martians invade Earth. Set in Edwardian England, the cast includes Rupert Graves (Sherlock) and Robert Carlyle (Once Upon A Time). Screens on TVNZ 1.

Whiskey Cavalier: Whiskey Cavalier is the codename for top FBI agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), who teams up with CIA operative Francesca “Frankie” Trowbridge played by The Walking Dead actor Lauren Cohan. In this series, Will and Frankie oversee an internatio­nal team of spies. Screens on TVNZ 2.

Grand Hotel: Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) appears in this US remake of the hit Spanish period drama Grand Hotel. Set in Miami in the modern day, the new show centres on a luxury hotel’s wealthy family owners and its staff. Streams OnDemand. The Red Line: Former ER actor Noah Wyle (left) plays a Chicago teacher and father grieving the loss of his doctor husband, an AfricanAme­rican, who was shot dead by a white police officer. Roswell, New

Mexico: Drama about a woman who returns to Roswell after a 10-year absence to care for her sick father. She rekindles a romance with her teenage crush and discovers he is an alien. Streams OnDemand.

The Feed: Based on the novel of the same name, this sci-fi thriller centres on the family of a man who invented a piece of technology called ‘The Feed’ which is implanted into most people’s brains. This allows for sharing of informatio­n, emotions and memories. But the technology has its downsides and it creates conflict between family members. Streams OnDemand.

The Passage: Starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar (NYPD Blue), this series revolves around a secret medical facility where scientists are experiment­ing with a dangerous virus that could lead to the cure for all disease, but potentiall­y wipe out the human race. Streams OnDemand.
