STAR LETTER

I am so grateful that TVNZ has renewed The Casketeers for another season (Mondays, on TVNZ 1). I was 34 years old when unexpectedly widowed while five-months pregnant with our twins and our eldest son was 15 months old. I was treated with the upmost respect and empathy by the funeral director I chose but I always wondered what happened to my husband in the hours before he was transported home. Witnessing the love, respect and attention to personal duty by the Casketeers has given me closure (despite the fluff of office changes and decor etc) of how the loved one that has passed on is treated behind the scenes.
