A big birthday week

To mark 60 years of Coronation Street, TVNZ 1 is running daily specials from Sunday looking back at some of the most memorable moments on the Street.

On Sunday at 3.55pm there is Coronation Street: Stories That Gripped The Nation followed by Famous Faces, featuring some of the stars who have graced the cobbles over the years.

On Monday at 4.30pm, Coronation Street: Off The Cobbles looks at the memorable trips away from the Street.

It is a big line-up on Tuesday with Coronation Street: Villains at 4.30pm, Soapy Slip Ups at 7.30pm (Why do so many props malfunction around Ken?), 60 Unforgettable Years at 8pm, followed by the regular weekly episode at 9.30pm.

The Street Battle-Axes are highlighted on Wednesday at 4.30pm, the Scandals come under the spotlight on Thursday at 4.30pm and then on Friday at 4.30pm there is a look at some of the best Partnerships on the Street.

And the regular hour-long episodes continue on Wednesday and Thursday.
