LOVES & HATES

A good cheese board: I love cheese and I love it when you lay it all out on display with some fancy crackers, dried fruit and nuts. You know, really go to town and make it look Instagram beautiful.

Swimming in the sea: I just love the feeling of being in the water. I think we’re lucky in New Zealand to have so many gorgeous beaches.

My fiance, my friends and my family: I’m very lucky. My family all get along with each other. We really like each other as well. I’ve managed to gather some really fantastic people around me and I just love them.

Rude people: Under that category obviously comes racists and homophobics and just generally terrible people. There is a lot of, kind of, unawareness and looking inwards and not considering others.

Bad traffic and road rage: People should just chill out. I find cutting in and honking and getting angry with the cars in front of you is just so pointless.

The over commodification of Christmas, Halloween and Easter: I hate that these give us licence to have so much crap everywhere. Our government has declared a climate emergency yet so many shops are full of hundreds and thousands of pieces of plastic that you put up on your tree or round your house.
