Antics of pets not always so funny

-

The Christmas pets special, Funniest Ever Pets At Christmas, which was screened on TVNZ 2 on December 21, most of it was very good, but some of it was appalling. For example, the clips showing dogs getting intimate with cushions, toys and other pets. This was very inappropriate as there could have been young children watching the show. The other complaint I have about the programme is the clip of the hippo in the house. This was entirely ridiculous as hippos are dangerous animals. I am also writing to applaud the Warehouse Christmas commercial featuring the little boy who gives his mother a pot plant. I like her reaction when she opens the present. I also like how she looks towards the garden and notices that there is a plant missing. This is one of the best commercials I have seen on TV. If only there could be more commercials like this one (for example the teddy bear who is left behind after his owner moves house and goes on a road trip to find her).
