Paeroa motel ‘one of the best’
Pedlars Motel in Paeroa has been awarded a Recognition of Excellence Award positioning it as one of the best motels in New Zealand.
The Award, from the international online meta-search company, HotelsCombined, is based on a survey of millions of guest reviews of hotels and motels across New Zealand.
Pedlars Motel scored 9.8 out of a possible 10 for customer service, cleanliness, location, facilities and comfort.
Consideration was also given to the way management responded to guests, demonstrating their commitment to providing quick efficient and friendly service.
Christine Laurenson, manager of Pedlars Motel, said winning the Award reinforced the dedication of her team and of the quality of the motel.
“Pedlars Motel is a premium motel, newly built in 2015 offering a superior standard of accommodation and service to guests,” she said.
“Paeroa is a popular destination, the home of the world-famous Hauraki Rail Trail which attracts thousands of tourists each year.

The motel complex features two family rooms, 12 studios and two disability studios all on the ground floor.

The Market Manager for HotelsCombined New Zealand, Alberto Castellucchio, said the Recognition of Excellence Award is based on information provided by guests on the quality of their accommodation and the service provided by the respective hotels or motels.
“Around 153 people who had been guests at Pedlars Motel contributed to the 9.8 rating placing the motel amongst the best in the country.”
