Volunteering for St John

St John Taupo¯ needs volunteers — and there are lot of things people can become involved with.

As well as ambulance volunteers, St John has a range of community activities it undertakes.

It has the St John Friends of the Emergency Department which needs people to do shifts in Taupo¯ Hospital emergency department supporting staff and patients, the St John Caring Caller scheme where people ring somebody regularly to keep in touch, the St John area committee which fundraises and supports St John, driving a proposed new health shuttle, and St John Youth, where leaders are needed to support the learning activities of the young members.
