Dogs ‘nip’ pupils

-

An Auckland school went into lockdown yesterday after several dogs chased and attacked pupils on school grounds. At Three Kings Primary School in Mt Eden five children were attacked. School principal Jo Willmoth said two or three dogs came on to the school field at lunchtime. ‘‘Some of the children were chased and the dogs nipped them.’’ The children received puncture and surface wounds and were treated by St John ambulance staff. Two dogs were later caught and impounded.
