In reply to Mr Pascoe’s letter (September 10). Re infrastructure and availability of residential sections. Mr Pascoe may be an accountant but he is certainly does not understand basic economics. Economics 101 states ‘‘if the demand exceeds supply the price will rise’’ . What Mr Pascoe failed to explain is that it takes at least 18 months for sections to be ready to be built on once council have provided the core infrastructure.
