The former king of Spain offered an anti-corruption group 2 million to drop tax fraud charges against his daughter, it has been claimed. Juan Carlos, who abdicated in 2014, allegedly offered the cash to Manos Limpias (Clean Hands), an organisati­on taking a private prosecutio­n against Princess Cristina, 51, as an alleged accessory to tax evasion by her husband, according to a taped conversati­on published by Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
