Women can now sign up to the annual Fieldays Rural Bachelor of the Year, now with its new name – Fieldays Rural Catch of the Year. The NZ National Fieldays Society said women all over New Zealand are working alongside men in the agricultural industry, so they thought it was about time the competition caught up.The competition remains the same but is a more accurate reflection of the agricultural industry, allowing both male and female contestants to compete alongside one another. Applications are now open.
