-

India have won a one-day cricket series in South Africa for the first time, clinching that piece of history with a 73-run victory in the fifth game to finish 4-1 overall. India’s victory yesterday was set up by 115 from opener Rohit Sharma and sealed by wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav (4-57) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2-43) as South Africa folded for 201 in 42.2 overs. India’s first success in an ODI series in South Africa also came with a game to spare. India have replaced South Africa as the top-ranked ODI team.
