Body found on driveway

Police are still trying to piece together the events that led to a woman’s body being discovered in Mt Roskill, Auckland, on Sunday. The 34-year-old’s body was found on a driveway, opposite Mt Roskill Primary School, about 1.40am. Police said ambulance staff were the first on the scene, which was a long, dead-end driveway with several adjacent industrial businesses. Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Armstrong said a post mortem examination of the body would be performed yesterday and the death was still being treated as unexplained. Formal identification had not yet taken place, Armstrong said.
