Moyano out of ABs test

-

Ramiro Moyano, who sidestepped his way to a superb solo try in Nelson, won’t be running rings around the All Blacks this weekend.

The 28-year-old flyer has been ruled out of Argentina’s squad for the Rugby Championship test in Buenos Aires on Sunday morning (NZT).

Moyano is still recovering from a rib injury sustained in the Pumas’ win over Australia in Brisbane.

The former Argentina sevens representative was the standout in an excellent

Pumas back- three during the 46-24 loss to the All Blacks in Nelson on September 8.

Moyano showed the All Blacks a clean pair of heels with a 40m burst for a first-half try.

He produced a beautiful sidestep to beat Richie Mo’unga and then had too much gas for the scrambling cover defence.

Moyano, who has 25 caps, had earlier scored in Argentina’s 32-19 win over South Africa in Mendoza.

Argentina coach Mario Ledesma has left Moyano out of his 30-man squad to meet the All Blacks and has also released backrowers Leonardo Senatore and Rodrigo Bruni, his back-up first five-eighth Joaquin Diaz Bonilla and prop Enrique Pieretto.

Moyano, who hails from the Tucuman province, represented Argentina at the junior world championships before becoming a sevens specialist.

He has been in and out of the national side, playing mainly in matches against South American rivals before stepping up to the bigger time against Italy in 2016.
