Immigration blunder

-

There comes a time when the word ‘‘Comrade’’ comes back to haunt you. Especially if your ‘‘Comrade’’ is a drug dealer who uses false identities and deals in drugs.

I cannot believe this Prime Minister, not ‘‘Our Prime Minister,’’ (She did not get enough total Labour votes to make her our,) is willing to defend a minister of immigration from her government who has made such an obviously dreadful and, may I suggest, fire-able decision granting citizenship to a felon.

While we have entertained Prince Harry and his Duchess, we have been saying to the world, guess what.

We love them but we prefer a drug importer with false names and gang associations to be the real face of New Zealand. Under ‘‘my, Jacinda, watch,’’ this is what a new Kiwi citizen looks like.

Little things can bring you down in Government, but huge things come back at election time to say, you Prime Minister endorsed this decision and you clearly did not have the wit to see its consequences. By some miracle, I am sure, this Government is about to reverse this decision.

The problem is, Prime Minister, you endorsed your minister and he has persuaded you to support him.

Now, where is that bowl that Pontius Pilate used to wash his hands of condemning Jesus Christ?’’ Didn’t work for him, won’t work for you Comrade Jacinda or your Minister.

We are better than this New Zealand, let’s welcome new citizens that really will make a difference and appreciate our country.
