Street closed

-

Parts of a Hamilton East street will be closed on November 14 while trees are pruned. The work will be carried out on Cook St between Grey and Firth streets. Hamilton City Council will close the Grey St entrance to the one-way section of Cook St from 9am to 3pm. Council arborists will focus on pruning overhanging branches on Steele Park trees on the park’s northern side to stop them interfering with powerlines and dropping on the road. Residents will have controlled vehicle exit and entry from their properties. Letters will be sent to them this week detailing what is happening. No one should park on the street if they don’t plan to come back before the closure time.
