Tranquil city oasis

-

Location:

A small residential enclave on Chartwell’s eastern boundary, Heritage Park comprises a community of modern homes largely built in the late 1990s. Upmarket housing, school zoning, proximity to Chedworth Park, Chartwell Shopping Centre and Wairere Drive, plus quiet location with no through roads, make the area well sought after.

Description:

Part of a quality neighbourhood, this family classic nestles at the end of a culde-sac where it enjoys an elevated, expansive outlook over Chedworth Park. Its presentation is hard to fault with its resort-like ambience created by lush plantings, trim hedges and established gardens. Alfresco living plays out on the front deck and rear lawn from where there is gated access into the park with its wide open spaces. The home’s 270sqm floor area offers diverse options for family living and entertaining. Bedrooms on the main level are airy retreats served by a main bathroom and ensuite. Below, the spacious fourth bedroom and third bathroom are ideal for teens, guests, and older family members. Workshop space is available in the triple-car garage. Zoning for Hukanui School, and proximity to St Joseph’s Catholic School, Waikato Diocesan School for Girls and St Paul’s Collegiate, will especially appeal to families.

Vendors’ feedback

The standout of living here is the area itself; it’s so convenient to get into the city, The Base and Chartwell shopping, and Chedworth Park, with its mature trees, around two sides of the section. We’re living in the city, but it’s almost like you are in the country – you get peace and tranquility, just the birds singing in the trees. The house gets lots of sun and is very livable with three bedrooms upstairs and the downstairs bedroom with its own lounge and bathroom. Our daughter loved the privacy and independence that gave her, but it would be ideal for an elderly relative. We’ve lived here 16 years but are retiring to the beach. We’ll take with us wonderful memories, especially of entertaining on the terrace overlooking the park. It’s a spectacular place to entertain.
