Re-examine the definition of Festival in this context so that marketing support can be better targeted, and Hamilton will have Festival which will help put ephemera like The Sevens into a clearer perspective and offer an ongoing compliment to the world recognised Gardens in which they have their being. Friday 8 and Saturday 9 at The Meteor Theatre, Hamilton’s inner city underground music festival is back for its third year, and headlining the festival is award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist Nadia Reid.
Sunday 10 at 2pm at The Plaza, 50-59 Kensington St, Putaruru, The South Waikato Music Society presents Saxcess, with Soprano: Debbie Rawson, Alto: Peter Liley, Tenor: Michael Jamieson, and Baritone: Timothy Workman performing a kaleidoscope of music illustrating the fascinating story of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone.
