Breast checks

- Anne Wills, Sandringham.

Don’t women get breast cancer over the age of 70? Of course they may do. However, the Government support is cut off at that age. We older women are often living off superannuation only, so $ 170 is quite a cost to check that we may be okay, even though the examination is not infallible. Surely the cut- off age could be increased, especially as it is well known that, in general, people are living longer.
