Today, women 4.45pm; All Blacks 7pm. Women, Wednesday 2.30pm.

The Wallabies don’t have a lot in their favour ahead of tonight’s dead Bledisloe Cup clash at Eden Park. In 25 tests at the ground since 1931, the All Blacks have won 20, Australia just five and none since that 22- 9 win in 1986. Since that win, Australia have played 15 times at the Garden and left as losers every time. Only twice in those 25 matches have the visitors scored more than 20pts whereas the ABs have topped 30 nine times including a 51- 20 drubbing two years ago. Indeed, Australia won five of their first 11 games at Eden Park but none since. No draws either here between the transtasman foes. The Wallabies do, however, have a better record than their women who will play tonight’s curtainraiser. The Wallaroos first played the Black Ferns in 1994 in Sydney with New Zealand winning 37- 0. Worse was to follow a year later when, in their only clash in Auckland, New Zealand won 64- 0. In 12 transtasman clashes, the Aussies have yet to win. Second women’s test at North Harbour on Wednesday.
