Teeing off for Cure Kids
The event known as The Blair Hargrave Memorial Golf Day was again recently at Whitford Park Golf course, providing a stunning setting for the 33 four- person teams.
The format was Ambrose, the weather was hot, the rules were blurred, and the winner on the day — Cure Kids.
Since partnering with Cure Kids, Colliers has raised well over a million dollars through charity events.
The Colliers golf day was set up 11 years ago in honour of the late Blair Hargrave.
Hargrave was one of the company’s longest serving staff members and was instrumental in establishing Colliers’ relationship with Cure Kids. The Global Infrastructure Hub has launched a service called Project Pipeline, providing the private sector with free information about government infrastructure projects across the world.
GI Hub Chief Executive Officer Chris Heathcote says Pipeline will provide visibility, accessibility and consistency of project information in a single platform.
Initially, governments of seven countries — Australia, China, Colombia, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, and Uruguay — had added major infrastructure projects to the online database.
More than 20 governments were eventually expected to contribute information in future.
“Pipeline provides early- stage visibility of potential projects, and will then track projects over time as they progress through their life- cycle from conception to operation,” Heathcote says. “This will enable the private sector to better evaluate project opportunities in public infrastructure across jurisdictions and markets.
“Importantly, Pipeline will also act as a marketing tool for the public sector, helping governments promote their infrastructure projects and programmes.”
Heathcote says the private sector is demanding clear, updated, and accurate information on projects to help them prepare and plan for their involvement, “and we believe the Pipeline will deliver this”.
