Empty buses

-

It is ironic that while Auckland is being strangled by worsening traffic congestion, Auckland Transport continue to pour massive amounts of public money into a new network of bus services which run at high frequencies through the suburbs all day but have no one on them. Yet Auckland Transport and the Government ignore public calls for more trains, new stations and rail services to Huapai, Hamilton and the airport, despite strong public demand and record patronage growth on Auckland's trains.
