European Tour, today midnight, tomorrow 10.30pm; Thursday/ Friday 11.30pm. The US Open is done and dusted but there’s still plenty of golf around the world. The PGA Tour is at TPC Highlands for the remaining rounds of the Travelers Championsh­ip before heading to TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm ( being used for the first time) for the Quicken Loans National from Friday. It was won a year ago by Billy Hurley III — his first and only PGA win — from Vijay Singh. Rickie Fowler, fresh from his T5 at the US Open, headlines the field. The women play the 54- hole Walmart NW Arkansas Championsh­ip from this morning. Lydia Ko defends after shooting 17- under and beating Morgan Pressel and Candie Kung by two a year ago. Only Ko ( second) and So Yeon Ryu ( third) of the top five on the latest rankings are in the field. On Friday, the LPGA is at Olympia Fields for their PGA Championsh­ip. Brooke Henderson, who beat Ko in a playoff after finishing 6- under, defends and starts in top form following her win in the Meijer Classic. The European Tour’s French Open starts on Thursday, while the US Seniors play their Open from Friday at the Salem Country Club. Gene Sauers defends.
