SHAKY PLACES

The centrepiece of this weekend’s Auckland Poetry Conference and Festival is this collection of leading New Zealand poems set to music. The poems provide a sort of national album, reflecting the people, places and events and ephemera that make us who we are: tuatara, pohutukawa, puzzles of identity, the Mt Erebus tragedy and the Christchurch earthquakes.
