Waikumete Cemetery in Glen Eden is having an open day tomorrow and is inviting the community to learn about the cemetery’s role in society and hopefully help demystify death. Tours and presentations include the crematorium, the natural burial site, Muslim burials, Maori burials, historic mausoleums, unmarked flu pandemic graves and more.
