What I’d do

- James Roque

1 First things first. You already know I have to get my chakras in check to start the weekend right. So I lay out my yoga mat in my room and do a bit of stretching. I’ve got mad tight hip flexors so this is a must.

2 After that I get into my car to go have brunch with my wonderful girlfriend — I say get into my car because it usually takes us a million years to decide where to go. There’s too many good places. We eventually end up choosing a dope place like The RAD in Mt Eden. I reckon it’s a universal fact that you spend 90 per cent of your relationships trying to decide where to eat. 3 Then it’s time to walk off that eggs benny I probably had — so we head up Mt Eden and check out what Auckland city is up to from up there.

4 Now anyone who knows me remotely well will know that I am addicted to mall massages. They are like crack cocaine for me, so next up, I head to my favourite spot for a good, cheap massage — Body Haven in St Lukes Mall. As I type this I am one stamp away from a free massage on my loyalty card and this is genuinely an achievement I am proud of. Body Haven Massage, St Lukes, 846 6988

5 Night time is usually squad time. Like any good millennial I am a pretty avid gamer, so I jump on Fortnite with the boys because I am a 12-year-old boy stuck in an adult’s body. Find me on PlayStation Network if you want to beef up your wins.
