Meth supplier jailed
An Auckland man who supplied more than $5 million of methamphetamine to drug dealers in the Wellington region has been jailed. Geoffrey Wayne Smith appeared in the High Court at Wellington for sentencing on two counts of supplying meth, one representative charge of supply, one possession of meth count, and charges of possessing a firearm and ammunition. Justice David Collins sentenced Smith to 13½ years in prison, with a minimum non-parole period of six years and nine months.
