Bedtime story

-

It is a sad reflection on society when Kieran Read promotes a podcast where he narrates bedtime stories to children, so the parent can “watch rugby in peace”. Has bedtime for young children become another chore to be delegated to a podcast?

Bedtime for children is more than just reading a story. It’s listening to the child’s tales from that day. It’s tucking your child in, reading the story yourself, hugging or kissing the child and making your child feel important.

It’s not a sterile podcast and no amount of rugby or subtle advertising can replace it.
