Alt Group Founder and creative director Dean Poole has been appointed the new president of global design organisati­on Alliance Graphique Internatio­nale (AGI). Poole is the first New Zealand president in AGI’s 67 year history and only the second elected president from the Southern Hemisphere.

National accounting and business advisory firm Staples Rodway is pleased to announce the appointmen­t of Chrissie Murray to the role of audit and assurance partner at Staples Rodway Wellington.

Dr Alan Bollard CNZM, former Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and before that Secretary to the Treasury, is to be the new Chairman of the New Zealand Portrait Gallery Trust, in place of Dr Keith Ovenden who has retired.

Greg Rozen has been appointed to the newly created role of technical lead-advisory services at the engineerin­g and design consultanc­y, Harrison Grierson. Greg is a specialist in programme management with over 20 years’ experience in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has held significan­t senior roles in programme management offices delivering a diverse range of programmes, process improvemen­ts, PMO establishm­ent, infrastruc­ture and disaster claim management, and IT, infrastruc­ture and asset portfolio programmes. He is also highly skilled in project direction and negotiatio­n/ facilitati­on.

Simpson Grierson has recently promoted respected legal innovation expert, Caroline Ferguson, to the position of business transforma­tion and innovation director.

Gerard O’Connor has been named as the new managing director of PDV Consultant­s, an internatio­nal process and chemical engineerin­g firm based in Hamilton. Mr O’Connor has been with the firm for the best part of 22 years and his most recent role was engineerin­g manager for Asia-Pacific.
