Ellis back to Seagars
Jamie Ellis has been appointed principal of the valuation firm Seagar & Partners in Central Auckland. Ellis was previously a director at CBRE, where he led the development land team. He began his career at Seagars over a decade ago.

Ideal Electrical’s new 800sq m showroom and warehouse in Ellison Rd, Hastings has been sold off the plans for $3.2m, at a yield of 6.37 per cent. by Ian McLachlan and Danny Blair of Colliers International, Hawke’s Bay, sold it.
Former Lion brewery
A 4712sq m fully leased 10-level commercial building, formerly Lion Breweries’ head office, on an 1191sq m site at
5 Kingdon St, Newmarket, has been sold for $19.75m (at a
7.52 per cent yield) by Layne Harwood, Bayleys’ director of capital markets.
Whakatane commercial
A commercial investment property, with long-term tenants, at 106 Commerce St, Whakatane, has sold for $2.6m, a yield of 7.8 per cent. The two-level, 1013sq m office building with 26 car parks on a 1553sq m freehold site was sold by Rob Schoeser and Simon Clark, Colliers Tauranga.
Big site at Papakura
About 2ha of industrially zoned land at 169 Dominion Rd, Papakura, has sold vacant for $5.1m through Bayleys agents Shane Snijder, Peter Migounoff, James Hill, Sunil Bhana and Mike Houlker. Excluding driveway access, the site offers over 1.8ha of yard space.
East Tam industrial
A freehold industrial property at 42 Allens Rd, East Tamaki, has sold for $2.47m. It has a 736sq m warehouse and a 126sq m office on a 1647sq m site. The deal was brokered by Paul Higgins and Jolyon Thomson of Colliers.

A 538sq m three-level building at 15 Bath St, Parnell; showroom and offices plus basement parking for 13 cars, on a 375sq m Mixed Use zoned corner site sold for $4.35m at a 5.16 per cent yield, through Bayleys’ Alan Haydock and Damien Bullick. It is fully leased to two tenants.

Colliers has brokered the sale and leaseback of Whoa! Studios, at 8-16 Henderson Valley Rd. The 5,916sq m freehold property sold at a yield of 6 per cent, brokered by Andrew Hooper, Hamish West, Josh Coburn, Caroline Cornish and Cherry Higginson.
Rotorua warehouse
A 698sq m freehold site with warehouse and offices at 164a Lake Rd, Rotorua, sold for $900,000, at a yield of 6 per cent, brokered by Colliers’ Mat Gibbard and Mark Rendell.
