Modern rugby

-

For at least two seasons I have been shouting at the TV. What used to be off-side play is now known as “rush defence”, and don’t start me on scrum “sets” or “clearing out”, once known as playing the man without the ball. Makes you wonder why concussion and other contact injuries are so prevalent. Thanks, home unions, for causing the doing away of rucking at mauls and stuffing up rugby.

Tom Mravicich, Ngatea.
