Mountview Residences, on Epsom’s Mountain Road in Auckland, is set to include 59 boutique apartments over 13 levels.

It’s Canam Commercial’s most recent undertaking, emphasised by principles of light, liveability and form, as they continue their reputation for developing aspirational and functional residential living, in partnership with awardwinning Leuschke Group Architects and Jasmax Design.

Comprised of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, Mountview is due for completion at the end of the second quarter 2024.

It will claim peak position in Auckland city’s outer edges on an elevated site, promising high-end and individualised residential living options to buyers.

Canam Commercial’s managing director Loukas Petrou says the development’s intention is “to take inspiration from the history of the area, to provide something taken from the past and create something that is good now, and good going into the future by using permanent materials that are low maintenance, that are comfortable, and contribute to the flow of the homes.”

Taking the utmost advantage of its elevated position, homes promise to be light-filled and with maximum flow accommodated by thoughtful layout, generous deck areas, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows engaging every inch of a comprehensive landscape.

Residents will take in commanding views to the city, North Shore and out to Rangitoto and Waiheke, and immediate views of Auckland Domain.

“The result is understated luxury and elegance – the details are well thought of, with people and liveability at front of mind.”

Canam called upon Leuschke to conceive the design.

The award-winning group has a long standing and successful relationship with Canam, making them a natural choice for the project.

“The directive was to first and foremost create something people will enjoy, so they can live easily.

“So, the result is understated luxury and elegance – the details are well thought of, with people and liveability at front of mind,” Petrou says.

“Careful thought and high-end inspiration have gone into designing and styling each and every apartment.”

A one-bedroom apartment at Mountview is priced from $865,000, two bedrooms from $1.3 million, three bedrooms from $2.465m, and prices for the penthouse and sub-penthouse are available on application.

“Careful thought and highend inspiration have gone into designing and styling each and every apartment by Leuschke Group Architects and Jasmax to ensure there is a boutique and individual ambience to all of the residences,” says Bayleys agent Paula Halford, who is marketing the development with Libby Greenwood and Louise Stringer.

Lightly-hued stone bathrooms are paired with gunmetal accents and large windows.

The kitchens are designed to be the focus of each home, characterised by marble or granite feature stone options and with either Bosch or Gaggenau appliances, set within a liberal and streamlined workspace.

Positioned at the Newmarket end of Mountain Road, Mountview is two minutes from Grafton Station, a stroll to Newmarket, Auckland City

Hospital and the stunning Auckland Domain that neighbours it.

St Peter’s College and Auckland Boys Grammar are counted amongst the property’s neighbours.

Located fewer than 3km from the best Auckland CBD has to offer, its location is arguably the best in the city fringe.
